This Cookie Policy explains the cookies, browser storage, and optional analytics tools used by Narak websites.
Narak uses a conservative consent model: optional analytics does not run until the visitor accepts analytics.
1. Storage inventory
- narak_privacy_consent: necessary; cookie; 180 days; Stores privacy choices so optional tools stay off or on as requested. Legal basis: Compliance, security, and legitimate interest in honoring user choices.
- narak_locale: preferences; cookie; 365 days; Remembers the language selected by the visitor when preference storage is allowed. Legal basis: Consent or user-requested preference.
- narak_traffic_source_detected_v1: analytics; sessionStorage; Browser session; Prevents duplicate traffic-source custom events after analytics consent. Legal basis: Consent.
- Vercel Web Analytics: analytics; server-side analytics; Vercel visitor session hash is discarded after 24 hours according to Vercel documentation.; Measures aggregated page views, referrers, device/browser information, geography, and sanitized custom events after analytics consent. Legal basis: Consent.
2. Necessary storage
narak_privacy_consent is necessary because it remembers whether optional categories should stay enabled or disabled.
Necessary storage cannot be turned off from the privacy manager because the site needs it to honor privacy choices.
3. Preference storage
The language preference cookie is optional. It remembers the visitor's selected language when preference storage is allowed or when the visitor explicitly selects a language.
4. Analytics storage
Analytics remains disabled until consent. After consent, Vercel Web Analytics may process aggregated analytics data without third-party cookies, and Narak may send one sanitized traffic-source custom event per browser session.
Rejecting analytics prevents Narak from loading Vercel Analytics and prevents the custom traffic-source event.
5. Managing choices
You can accept, reject, or change optional storage at /privacy-choices. Withdrawal is as easy as enabling consent.
