This page explains how to submit privacy requests related to data that TheirDay processes outside your device.
For contact and birthday entries stored locally in the app, you can edit or delete that data directly on your device.
1. How to submit a request
Email contact@narak.app with the subject line Privacy Request - TheirDay.
Describe your request clearly and include the email address you used to contact support, if applicable.
2. Request types
- Access request: Ask what personal data we hold in support records.
- Correction request: Ask us to correct inaccurate support-related personal data.
- Deletion request: Ask us to delete support-related personal data when legally permitted.
- Restriction or objection request: Ask us to limit specific processing where applicable law allows.
3. Verification process
- We verify requests using reasonable methods, such as confirming the request from the same email address used in prior support communication.
- If needed, we may request limited additional information to confirm identity and protect user data.
4. Response timelines
- We target acknowledgment within 7 calendar days.
- We target completion within 30 calendar days, unless applicable law requires a shorter response period or permits additional time due to legal complexity or request volume.
- If additional time is required, we will notify you with an updated timeline.
5. Important limits
- TheirDay cannot directly delete local contact data from your device because that data is controlled locally by you.
- We may retain limited information where required for legal compliance, dispute resolution, or security.
